Register now for the IAR Multicultural Summit on Thursday, Sept. 4 and the corresponding half-day session for the IAR Fall Conference & Expo.

For a total of $99, you’ll be able to attend both sessions at McCormick Place in Chicago.

If purchased separately, any day’s registration for the conference and expo is $99, while early-bird registration for the entire 2½-day conference and expo is $149 until Aug. 14. Registration for the summit alone is $40. By purchasing both the summit registration and the Sept. 4 half-day conference and expo admission at the same time, you save money and give yourself other opportunities to improve yourself and your business.

The summit, titled “The Latino Factor: Global Opportunity in Your Own Backyard,” begins at 9 a.m. and lasts to 1:30 p.m. The program includes three panel discussions:

  • “Challenges: How do Latinos Fare in the Real Estate Market?” featuring moderator Sonia Anaya, and panelists Mabèl Guzmàn, Joe Nery and Sylvia Puente;
  • “Opportunities: Local Latino Trends and Solutions for Success,” with moderator Loretta Alonzo and panelists Joe Castillo, Mark Hernandez, José Colón and Ed Ruiz; and
  • “Opportunities: Global Success Can Be Closer Than You Think,” including moderator Jim Kinney and panelists Jeff Hornberger, Michael Bauknecht and Gerardo Contreras Goméz.

The CE session, titled “(Elective RB 707) Pitfalls & Possibilities: Negotiating Contracts,” will be taught by Lynn Madison from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Following the negotiating contracts session, a networking reception will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the Illinois Young Professionals Network Social from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
