Illinois REALTORS® will find the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to be as unobtrusive as possible, said IDFPR Secretary Bryan A. Schneider at the IAR Legislative Briefing.

Citing his experience as a lawyer, Schneider said he understands the needs of professionals working with government agencies. He said the IDFPR and the Division of Real Estate are not the enemy. In fact, he sees the relationship between the real estate industry and the state’s economy.

“A thriving residential real estate market is key to a thriving economy,” Schneider said.

He pledged to keep an open door relationship with our association.
