REALTORS® from the Ninth District came out Monday, March 10, for a luncheon and discussion on several issues at the Let’s Talk Real Estate event for Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky.
Issues such as commercial and residential real estate finance, tax policy and data security were covered.
Congresswoman Schakowsky has in-depth knowledge of the issue of data security from her role on a task force to study issue in the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
One area of discussion where the members and the Congresswoman would like to have continued talks is in the area of senior housing. This topic came up during the market reports part of the program and it is one of much importance to her.
