Probably the most important reason to register to vote is to make sure your voice as a REALTOR® can be heard during the Nov. 4 general election. Register by Tuesday (Oct. 7) so you can vote next month.
If you’re looking for additional reasons to register, here are a few:

- To impact the local, state and national elections.
According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Oct. 7 is the statewide deadline for registration. However, if you live in the city of Chicago or Cook County, check with these jurisdictions for registration deadlines. You can register online or in person at the local “election authority” office.
