Maurice Hampton, Kristine Heiman and Christopher Holvoet will be among local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored March 28 at the 2022 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield.
The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.
Hampton is the ROTY for the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) and is the owners of Centered International Realty in Chicago. The 2019-20 CAR president is a REALTORS® Real Estate School instructor and is an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. He chairs the CAR Global Real Estate Council and has been active on CAR’s Finance Committee. He has held leadership positions on the Illinois REALTORS® Major Investor Working Group, Political Fundraising Group and Young Professionals Network. He is a member of the RPAC Hall of Fame.
Heiman is the ROTY for the REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley and is the designated managing broker for Best Homes Fox Valley. She serves on her association’s board of directors, is a State Legislative Contact for Assistant Senate Majority Leader Linda Holmes and volunteers on several local committees. Her community involvement includes the Kendall County Historic Preservation Commission, Kendall County Ethics Committee, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and hosting diabetes awareness events.
Holvoet is the ROTY for Quad City Area REALTORS®. The Mel Foster Co. broker is licensed to serve clients in both Iowa and Illinois. During his term as association president, Holvoet worked with the association CEO to reassure members that essential services would be maintained during the COVID-19 pandemic. His communication skills helped reinforce the value of the association to members in unprecedented times.
All three will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ed Neaves, managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Central Illinois REALTORS® in Bloomington, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for this special event. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 7:15 p.m.
