Residents of Springfield’s 10th Ward received IAR RPAC postcards urging them to vote for Past IAR President and REALTOR® Phil Chiles for the Springfield City Council in the April 7 consolidated election.
The postcards let voters know Chiles will provide Springfield with an alderman who favors:
- Reducing barriers to homeownership;
- Keeping taxes low on working families;
- Economic growth;
- Support of small business; and
- Protecting private property rights.
Chiles is one of 13 individuals competing in April Opportunity Races in Illinois with IAR REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) support. He has also received support by independent expenditures from the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Fund. Independent expenditures are made in support of candidates , but without coordination with the candidate’s campaign.
