Working professionals and individuals who want to complete their real estate pre-license education quickly now have an accelerated course option. Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center’s Accelerated Broker Pre-License course takes just 8 weeks to complete. The course consists of self-paced online study and web-based, live, instructor-led sessions. Live sessions are held on Wednesday afternoons starting at 4:00 p.m., making them easier for working professionals to manage. Each live session lasts 3-4 hours, except for Week 1, which is a one-hour orientation to the course.
The 8-week Accelerated Broker Pre-License course fulfills the full 90 credit hours of broker pre-license education. Each week, students will work independently to complete assignments such as online reading and watching video presentations. During the live sessions on Wednesdays, instructor Norm Willoughby will answer questions, assess students’ understanding of the materials, and discuss practical applications.
