In the third of three panel discussions, you will learn to better serve your clients in a culturally nuanced way. You will get a better understanding of how actions and language will be perceived through Latino culture.

This discussion will be led by moderator Jim Kinney, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, president-elect of the Illinois Association of REALTORS®. He’ll be joined by:

  • Jeff Hornberger, RCE, director for global alliances, National Association of REALTORS®;
  • Michael Bauknecht, president of the Chicago Chapter of FIABCI, broker associate with Dreamtown Realty and owner of Chicagoland Brokerage; and
  • Gerardo Contreras Goméz, founder of Century 21 Libra in Nuevo León, Mexico. He is an international coordinator for North America for the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios.

Registration is only $40 for the Multicultural Summit, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. at McCormick Place in Chicago. And if you’re willing to spend the rest of your afternoon in the same place, $99 will get you the summit as well as a half day of IAR Fall Conference activities.
