You’ll get perspectives that aren’t often available in your everyday collaborations during IAR’s Multicultural Summit on Thursday, Sept. 4 at McCormick Place in Chicago.  Take, for example, the panel discussion titled: “Local Latino Trends and Solutions for Success.”

A pair of REALTORS® and a pair of lenders will identify and explain trends they see in the residential and commercial Latino markets. Register today.

The moderator, Loretta Alonzo, CRB, GRI, is a former IAR president and serves as vice chair of the NAR Housing Opportunity Committee. She is broker-owner of Century 21 Alonzo.

Panelists will include:

  • Joe Castillo, SFR, broker-owner of ERA Mi Casa and vice president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP);
  • Mark Hernandez is vice president, First Merit Bank and president of NAHREP’s Chicago chapter. He’s on the board of the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association;
  • José Colón, CCIM, is vice president, investment sales, of the Jameson Group. He is a former Chicago Association of REALTORS® board member and has served as chairman of the Chicago International Real Estate Council; and
  • Ed Ruiz is Wintrust Financial Corporation’s senior vice president-retail branch management and is brand president for Wintrust’s Logan Square office.

Please note that this is one of three panel discussions scheduled for the Multicultural Summit. The summit precedes the IAR Fall Conference & Expo, Sept. 4-6 at McCormick Place.
