The Mortgage Credit Availability Index had a small but positive increase in December, rising 0.6 percent compared to the month before, HousingWire reports today. The index from the Mortgage Bankers Association tracks lending standards and credit availability. In November the index was 110.2 and rose to 110.9 in December.
