Shadow housing inventory in April fell 14.8 percent compared to a year earlier, according to data from CoreLogic. Shadow inventory is defined by CoreLogic as distressed properties that are more than 90 days delinquent, in the foreclosure process or have become REO properties but have not yet been listed for sale.
