(UPDATE – Nov. 20, 2012: The Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® announced that it will be donating $1,000 to the relief effort.)

The list of REALTOR® organizations in Illinois making donations to help with storm relief on the East Coast continues to increase.

The Illinois Association of REALTORS® had announced it was donating $25,000, and the Chicago Association of REALTORS® said it was donating $10,000. The money will be used to help stricken communities recover from Super Storm Sandy.

Now Midwest Real Estate Data CEO Russ Bergeron says his organization has donated $25,000 and the Capital Area Association of REALTORS® just approved $1,000 for the effort.

It was announced a week ago at the National Association of REALTORS® annual convention that $1.3 million had been raised.

Other REALTOR® associations throughout the state have indicated they are considering donations. As we learn of them we will post them.
