Register for the IAR Multicultural Summit on Sept. 4 and you’ll hear from a leader in the growth of Spanish language television in the United States, Univision’s Larry Sands.

With more than 25 years in the broadcast industry, Sands will provide the keynote luncheon address for the summit. A regional vice president for Univision Chicago and president of Univision Puerto Rico, he has also worked in California, Washington, D.C., North Carolina and Virginia. He will talk about the lessons he’s learned working with different cultures and how those lessons can benefit REALTORS® as they interact with the fast-growing and dynamic Hispanic community.

Chicago-area residents may be familiar with two television stations under his leadership, WBGO and WXTV.

Univision Communications Inc. is the leading media company serving Hispanic America. The company includes Univision Network, the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the country, reaching approximately 95 percent of U.S. Hispanic television households.
