This event, designed for Illinois YPN members and open to all Illinois REALTORS®, takes place the day prior to the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference. So plan to head to Springfield for both events.

The real estate industry is evolving at a rapid pace with words like “disruption” being used daily to the point where nothing gets done. National Association of REALTORS® Director of Industry Outreach Nobu Hata will share how to “Disrupt Yourself,” your business, your marketing process, and your leadership ideology to prepare the industry for a bright future.
Harrison Beacher serves on the National Association of REALTOR® YPN Advisory Board and is a Washington D.C. area REALTOR®. He will deliver tools and tips to address market shifts in the industry as well as practical advice on how to “Thrive through the Shift.” Learn to adapt and activities to propel you through whatever market cycle we are experiencing.

About the speakers:
Nobu Hata is the Director of Industry Outreach for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). He is an industry veteran since 1996, now located in Chicago or on the road meeting with REALTORS® and association executives to talk about NAR, their business, and the integration of digital technologies in the real estate industry. Nobu brings insight and context of agent, brokerage and association issues and delivers value-added information in-person and online.
Harrison Beacher serves on the National Association of REALTOR® YPN Advisory Board and is a Washington D.C. REALTOR® with Keller Williams Capital Properties. Harrison was appointed to the 2017-2019 Board of Directors for both the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR), and the D.C. Association of REALTORS® (DCAR), where he assists with coordinating professional development, networking and community service events for local REALTORS®. Harrison was recently named as the Vice President of the Next Gen Initiative for his brokerage, focused on cultivating a group of new/young leaders in the community, the D.C. metro area real estate market and facilitating networking, professional and personal development for that group.
