A group of northern Illinois REALTORS® met with U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh, R-8th District, today to provide an update on national issues, state issues and local real estate markets. Items for discussion included the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and the importance of homeownership and rural housing programs. Congressman Walsh provided a legislative update to members.
Local associations participating in the meeting included members of the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley, Heartland REALTOR® Organization and Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS®.
