IAR's Alonzo to be honored as Wildcat Person of the Year

Loretta Alonzo, IAR President, will be honored by The Fraternal Order of St. Francis Wildcats as the organization's person of the year in April.

Illinois Association of REALTORS® President Loretta Alonzo, CRB, GRI, will be honored as the Person of the Year by the Fraternal Order of St. Francis Wildcats at a banquet on April 14.

According to the article in Hispanic Times, the Wildcats team was formed in 1938 as a basketball program. This outreach to the Mexican-American community has endured through the years, and in addition to youth sports leagues also provides scholarships and charitable contributions to the community, according to this Gazette Chicago article.

Alonzo will be honored at the fraternal organization’s 74th anniversary scholarship and awards banquet in Hickory Hill.  Alonzo is the Broker-Owner of Century 21 Alonzo & Associates in La Grange Park.
