SAN FRANCISCO — The Power of R slogan used by the Illinois Association of REALTORS® to highlight the organization’s membership will be used by the national association to call attention to the work REALTORS® do in their communities.
NAR Treasurer Bill Armstrong made the announcement during a session called NAR 360. He asked participants to use the Twitter hashtag #PowerofR to highlight work by REALTORS®.
Phil Chiles, IAR’s 2014 president, was recognized Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, as part of NAR’s Conference and Expo held in San Francisco. Chiles came up with the Power of R slogan to highlight the association’s local advocacy, the REALTOR® Political Action Committee, education and the close relationships members have.
Chiles used the Power of R theme for the IAR Fall Conference and Expo in St. Charles in October.
