REALTORS® from across the state are scheduled to attend the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference Tuesday at the Bank of Springfield (BOS) Center in downtown Springfield.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. for the event also known as “REALTOR® Lobby Day.”
Although some members may drive to Springfield on their own, several local associations are offering bus rides so colleagues can ride together and share information. The day’s activities will include:
- buffet lunch and legislative briefing at the BOS Center,
- announcement of the Political Involvement Award winner,
- legislative visits at the State Capitol and
- a late afternoon reception at the BOS Center.
Capitol Conference gives REALTORS® the opportunity to collectively voice their concerns about proposed legislation or issues affecting the real estate profession and to emphasize the rights of private property owners.
