FreddieMac recognizes Silvano to celebrate Women’s History Month

Persistence and a willingness to keep learning are the trademarks of Chicago REALTOR® Vicky Silvano’s success story posted online today by FreddieMac.

Silvano is one of five real estate professionals featured by FreddieMac in celebration of Women’s History Month, and she’s the only REALTOR® from Illinois. See her photo in the middle of the five and click on it to read her story.

A member of NAR President Elizabeth Mendenhall’s leadership team, she is serving as the NAR Global Real Estate Committee Liaison. Silvano has been a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Consulate General Liaison Program as liaison to the Philippines since 2016. She is an RPAC Major Investor, too.

As the national chair for the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) in 2016, she helped lobby the U.S. Census Bureau to change the way it collects data for Asian American Pacific Islanders so more effective housing and homeownership policies could be developed.
