Illinois REALTORS® has named Neeley Erickson as a local government affairs director serving northern Illinois.

Erickson had served as a legislative aide to State Rep. Joe Sosnowski, who represents parts of Boone and Winnebago counties. Erickson is a trustee for the Village of Poplar Grove, in Boone County northeast of Rockford. She began her term in 2015.

She will also assume the role of regional manager for member outreach.

Erickson earned a bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago and attended Belvidere High School in Belvidere.

In her new role, Erickson will work with the Rockford Area REALTORS®, Belvidere Board of REALTORS®, the Heartland REALTOR® Organization and the REALTOR® Association of Northwestern Illinois. She replaces Conor Brown, who was named earlier this year as CEO of Rockford Area REALTORS®.
