The Egyptian Board of REALTORS® (EBOR) donated $3,400 to the Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless in early December so children served by the program can receive Christmas gifts from their parents.

“It is our way of saying to our communities, REALTORS® care,” said EBOR CEO Charay Palmer, who noted that the association has donated to the coalition for three years.

EBOR raised most of its funds through raffles held at its membership meetings.

The Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless is a nonprofit organization based in Marion that helps families in the 24 southern most counties in Illinois find affordable housing and support services.
