The banquet, which will feature 26 local association ROTYs and IAR ROTY Loretta Alonzo, will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. June 16 in the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $75 each.

Among those being honored are:

Susie Danner of RE/MAX 2000-Danner 2000 Inc., in Danville is the Danville Area Board of REALTORS®’ REALTOR® of the Year. She earned the 2014 Platinum Award at RE/MAX International, was honored by the Business Women of Vermillion County and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.

Phil Jenkins of Paula Childs Realtors® in Decatur is the Decatur Association of REALTORS®’ ROTY. Jenkins has been active in real estate for 15 years, has served on the local board and has been involved in many activities with the board and the community.

Elaine Melby of C21 House of Realty, Inc., in Carterville is the Egyptian Board Association of REALTORS®’ ROTY. Melby has been active on the local board, twice serving as president. She served 14 years on the Carterville Board of Education and was the first female president of the Marion Rotary.

Sandy Michel of Heart and Home Realty in Vandalia is the Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS®’ ROTY. Michel is vice chair of the local board of directors and has served on several local and state committees. She has been active with local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and the YMCA.

Scott Beilfuss of OK and Associates, Realty Plus in Richmond is the Heartland REALTOR® Organization’s ROTY. Beilfuss served as association president in 2014. He oversaw the implementation of custom photo keycards to Heartland’s membership and spearheaded the association’s 2014 Golf Outing which raised funds for RPAC.
