New Core CE requirements will go into effect on June 30, 2019: the new Core CE requirement will be a 4-hour course. Online and classroom CE courses will be available after July 10, 2019.

How does this affect your license renewal requirements?

Scenario 1: You have already completed both a 3-hour Core A course and a 3-hour Core B course by June 30, 2019 during the current renewal cycle.

      • You will have fulfilled the Core CE requirement for the current license renewal cycle.

Scenario 2: You have completed only one 3-hour Core course by June 30, 2019 during the current renewal cycle.

      • The 3-hour Core CE course you completed will be counted as Elective CE and you will need to take the new 4-hour Core CE course to satisfy your Core CE requirements for license renewal.

Scenario 3: You have not completed any Core CE hours by June 30, 2019 during the current renewal cycle.

      • You will need to take the new 4-hour Core CE course to satisfy your Core CE requirements for license renewal.

The new 4-hour core for broker and managing broker will be available after July 10, 2019. There will also be a new core curriculum for leasing agent licensees that has yet to be developed.
