Jason Catton, Barbara Davidson and Vickie Foster will be among local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored March 28 at the 2022 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield.
The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.
Catton is the ROTY for the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® (PAAR) and is a broker for Realty Executives Acclaimed in Peoria Heights. His calm demeanor and passion for the real estate industry helped him put the best interests of PAAR members at the forefront, even through a CEO vacancy and the pandemic. Since joining PAAR in 1998, he’s devoted himself to numerous local committees and task forces. Currently, he’s a member of PAAR’s Board of Directors and the PAAR Cares Foundation. He also shows his community spirit by volunteering for the South Side Mission and Moving the Needle.
Davidson is the ROTY for the REALTOR® Association of Southwestern Illinois (RASI) and is a broker for Coldwell Banker Brown REALTORS® in Belleville. She has served on numerous task forces and has chaired several committees for PAAR during her 44-year career. She’s a REALTOR® Emeritus and is active in animal welfare.
Foster is the ROTY for the HomeTown REALTORS® and is a broker with 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. She is a broker for Willow Real Estate, Inc., in Sycamore. She is also retired from the Sycamore School District after 35 years. She’s been involved with several community nonprofit organizations including DeKalb County & Journey Care Hospice, Meals on Wheels and Barn on Baseline. She’s also reads at a local elementary school.
All three will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ed Neaves, managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Central Illinois REALTORS® in Bloomington, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for this special event. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 7:15 p.m.
