Illinois REALTORS® are wrapping up their week in Washington, D.C., with a last caucus meeting, a reception and a Saturday NAR Board of Directors meeting.

Friday was highlighted by a speech by President Donald Trump, where he told REALTORS® they were an important part of the economy.

“You are really truly fantastically talented people,” Trump said in a speech at the Marriott Wardman Hotel.

He later added: “What you do as REALTORS® is part of America,” he said. “You love people, this land and this country.”

Illinois REALTORS®’ leaders were also part of the Region VII Caucus. It brings Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin REALTORS® together to hear updates on the real estate market and projects associations are working on.

The NAR board meeting will be Saturday morning, ending a week with a political focus.
