Illinois REALTORS® can broaden their knowledge about first-time home buyer and other mortgage programs available for clients by using the resources of the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA).

The IHDA uses its bonding authority to create loan products and leverage federal loan programs to help Illinois residents who meet the loan-specific criteria. If you have a client who can afford to make monthly payments but may need help with down payments or closing costs, please follow the links provided here to see if you may help your client find a safe and sustainable housing finance solution.

The IHDA offers a summary sheet of programs it offers but REALTORS® who have questions can visit [email protected] or call 1-877-456-2656. Lenders can access interest rates and turn times, too.
