Members of the REALTOR® Association of Southwestern Illinois (RASI) partnered with Caritas Family Solutions for a beautification project and signage at their St. John Bosco’s Children’s Center in Belleville.
RASI’s Community Involvement Task Force has been partnering with different local organizations every quarter to raise monetary donations, goods and complete volunteer projects. This project was chaired by Rebecca Bollinger of RE/MAX Preferred of O’Fallon, who is passionate about Caritas’ mission. RASI members and staff hauled rock, laid mulch and planted flowers on two very hot mornings in July.
This beautification project would not have been possible without the monetary donations of numerous RASI members. Mt. Everest Sponsors gave $200 each:
- Benchmark Title Company, LLC;
- Celeste Wheeler of RE/MAX Preferred in O’Fallon;
- Coldwell Banker Brown;
- RASI CEO Deb Frazier;
- Rebecca Bollinger;
- Team 618 at Berkshire Hathaway;
- Town & Country Banc Mortgage Services; and
- Sam Row of Keller Williams Pinnacle.
Southern Illinois Realty, LLC was the Mt. Kilimanjaro Sponsor with a $100 donation, while Tammy Mitchell-Hines & Co. Real Estate was the Mt. Fuji Sponsor, $50. Their donations provided the mulch, flowers and new signage for the building.
“This was my first time being chair for one of our community-involvement projects, and while it was a lot of hard work, it’s important for members of the REALTOR® Association to support organizations like Caritas. We, as an association, not only work in our community, but live here and strive to make our community a great place,” said Bollinger.
RASI is led by Association Executive Deb Frazier, President Donna Baker of RE/MAX Preferred in O’Fallon, President-elect Celeste Wheeler, Treasurer Karen Sheesley of Strano & Associates Real Estate in O’Fallon and Immediate Past President Judy Ross of Southern Illinois Realty in Smithton.
